MMK named after Ilyich has nothing to pay for gas

Deputy General Director for the commercial part of the MMK named after Ilyich Valery Merkulov at a balance meeting of representatives of enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex in Dnepropetrovsk on Wednesday stated that at present, the missile meter has not enough working capital for calculations for natural gas.

The representative of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine confirms that it is quite possible to completely turn off the DMK named after Dzerzhinsky and MMK named after Ilyich from gas in connection with debts.

The source of the newspaper Kommersant-Ukraine in the department explained that without disconnecting debtors from supplies it would not be possible to ensure the financial balance of Naftogaz. “These are private enterprises that work with profit. At the same time, Naftogaz experiences a certain deficit of working capital. Why should we forgive them debts in these conditions? "

According to him, in the near future, supplies can be limited at the Alchevsk Impress Council.

According to the head of the press center of the MMK named after Ilyich Sergey Maurera, reduction in gas supplies really occurs due to payment arrears. At the same time, he clarified that at present, the debt for VAT to the metrmotineineinery from the state is about 1.8 billion UAH, including expired - 1.6 billion UAH.

“We treated the proposal to conduct mutual settlements on gas and VAT. Different options are discussed, and consent is as if the fundamental is given, but the solution of issues is moving slowly”

Currently, the pressure of the natural gas supplied to the MMK named after Ilyich, is about 3 kg at a rate of 5.4 kg. This affects the volume of cast iron smelting and can lead to a stop of units.
