Dniprovsky MK increased output of marketable products by 6.3%

Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works (DMK, Kamenskoye) by the end of February 2020 produced 191,983 tons of marketable products, exceeding the monthly target by 3.6%. Since the beginning of the year, the output of marketable products amounted to 420 812 tons (+ 6.3% to the plan). The plant's economic planning department informs about it.
There is an increase in the actual production of commercial metal products in comparison with the corresponding periods of the previous year: by 4.5%, or 8221 tons in February; by 0.7%, or 2,873 tons in two months.
Sinter production in February amounted to 312 598 tons (+ 4.8%, or 14 266 tons to the plan).
The blast-furnace shop produced 178,970 tons of pig iron (+ 5.1%, or 8,739 tons in the plan for February 2020 and + 14.5% over the same period in 2019). The production of commercial pig iron amounted to 17,258 tons (+ 1.9%, or 320 tons to the plan).
The converter shop produced 176,483 tons of steel (+ 4.2%, or 7,111 tons to the target of the month), including 122,008 tons of commercial steel (+ 1.4%, or 1,726 tons to the plan).
The rolling shop produced 62,574 tons of rolled products (+ 11.5%, or 6,454 tons to the month's target).
The plant shipped 191 608 tons of commercial metal products to consumers, which is 4.2%, or 7 688 tons more than the target for February and 3.4% (+6 331 tons) exceeds the level of shipment in February last year. Following the results of two months of 2020, 423 144 tons of marketable products were sent to consumers (+ 8.1%, or 31 533 tons to the plan). Compared to the corresponding period last year, the growth was 1.8%, or 4,904 tons.
