According to Elizabeth May, the leader of the Party of Green Canada, “Arcelormittal Dofasco was one of the first companies that used electric buffet for steel, which improves the environment due to a decrease in carbon emissions.” The head of Corporate Knights Toby Hips noted that Arcelormittal is one of the 10 best companies in the metallurgical and mining sector of Canada.
