Natural gas has been used in our homes for generations. As a fuel, it accounts for 24 percent of our total energy consumption. In addition, natural gas is much cheaper than gasoline and will remain so in the future.

Vast gas production is projected to last over the next century, and even if natural gas completely replaces gasoline, it will remain incredibly cheap.
