They can be made of lead (rather heavy and bulky) or using epoxy as a filler (toxic and have a low temperature threshold). Installation of the shrinkable end sleeve is carried out using a construction hair dryer, which supplies it with a stream of hot air with a temperature of 150 degrees. Reliability and tightness of gluing is due to the use of a special sealant at the joints. Shrink sleeves are manufactured with specified characteristics that match certain types of cables.
