The practice of conducting searches without the permission of the investigating judge has recently grown noticeably and transforms into an abuse tool, lawyers interfax-Ukraine surveyed by Interfax-Ukraine.
“This is a long-standing problem that regularly transforms into an abuse tool. In my practice, there were situations when criminal proceedings were recorded at 6 in the morning, and at 7 in the morning law enforcement officers conducted an “urgent” search. There were also absurd cases - searches “at the wrong address”, which in a few minutes were legalized as urgent at the right address.
