The Commissioner has established:
- exports of goods from China in respect of all exporters from that country were dumped during the investigation period, and that the volume of dumped goods and the margin of dumping were not insignificant,
- exports of goods from China in respect of all exporters from that country, except With the exception of Baoshan, Zhanjiang, Meishan and LY Steel, which were subsidized during the investigation period, and that the volume of subsidized goods and the subsidy margin were not insignificant,
- dumping and subsidized exports of goods from China caused material damage to the Australian industry producing similar goods.
The dumping margin is set at 59.1 percent for Baoshan, 38.1 percent for Zhangjiang, 54.9 percent for Meishan, 41.6 percent for LY Steel and 79.0 percent for all other Chinese companies. Meanwhile, the subsidy margin of 1.7 percent for Baoshan, 0.3 percent for Zhanjiang, 1.4 percent for Meishan and LY Steel was considered insignificant, while the subsidy margin for all other Chinese exporters was determined at 3.4 percent.
