Taiwan's base metals export orders increased by 3.7 percent in January-May 2026
According to statistics released by Taiwan's Ministry of Economy, Taiwan's export orders for base metals and products made from them totaled $2.16 billion in May this year, an increase of 9.6 percent compared to May 2025 and 4.0 percent compared to the previous month. In April, Taiwan's export orders for base metals and products made from them amounted to 2.08 billion US dollars.
