Trzineke Zhelezarny reported that its profitability in 2025 will remain at a very low level, reflecting the difficult conditions faced by the steel industry over the past three years. CEO Roman Heide stated that the company remains profitable despite strong pressure from costs, prices and regulatory requirements, explaining this result primarily by cost-saving measures and effective management. According to Heide, the company is going through one of the most severe and prolonged crises in its history. Compared to 2024, profits decreased mainly due to lower prices for steel products and weak market demand. At the same time, the company continued to face high operating costs, especially for electricity and emissions quotas.
