U.S. standard pipe imports totaled 51,478 tons in April this year, down 17.5 percent from March and down 22.8 percent year over year, according to final U.S. Department of Commerce Census data. In value terms, imports of standard pipes totaled $51.22 million in April, compared to $60.83 million in March and $69.42 million in April last year.
The United States imported the most standard pipes from the UAE in April - 10,146 tons, compared to 17,592 tons in March and 12,661 tons in April 2025. Other major sources of standard pipe imports in April include Canada with 9,120 tons, Mexico with 5,816 tons, Thailand with 5,251 tons and Turkey with 5,153 tons.
