Production for the week ended June 27, 2026 decreased by 0.5 percent compared to the previous week ended June 20, 2026, when production was 1,851 million net tons and capacity utilization was 80.2 percent.
Production totaled 1.792 million net tons for the week ended June 27, 2025, and capacity utilization was 79.8 percent. Production this week represents an increase of 2.8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Adjusted production from the beginning of the year to June 27, 2026 amounted to 46.237 million net tons with a capacity utilization rate of 78.7 percent. This is 6.0 percent more than 43.620 million net tons in the same period last year, when the capacity utilization rate was 76.8 percent.
