According to the company's report on Friday, July 10, Indian JSW Steel Limited achieved consolidated steel production of 6.59 million tons in the first quarter (April-June) of fiscal year 2026-27, which is three percent more than in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to the company's statement on Friday, July 10.
The company's crude steel production at Indian facilities totaled 6.35 million tons during the quarter, also increasing by three percent.
Capacity utilization for Indian enterprises was approximately 94 percent during the quarter, excluding the capacity of Blast furnace No. 3 (BF3) at the Vijayanagar plant, which was closed for capacity upgrades.
JSW Steel USA Ohio achieved crude steel production of 0.24 million tons in April-June 2026-27, the same as in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
