According to the export data of the US Department of Commerce, the export of structural pipes from the United States in May this year amounted to 5,622 thousand tons, which is 10.7% more than in April and 0.5% more than in May 2025. In value terms, the volume of exports of structural pipes in May amounted to 13.76 million US dollars, compared with 13.00 million US dollars in the previous month and 11.23 million US dollars in the same month last year.
The United States shipped the most structural pipes to Mexico in May, producing 2,828,000 tons compared to 3,341,000 tons in April and 2,744,000 tons in May 2025. The other largest export destination was Canada with 2,420,000 tons. In May, there were no other significant destinations (1,000 tons or more) for the export of structural pipes from the United States.
