The Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that between July 27 and August 2 this year, average prices for finished steel products in China decreased slightly.
During the specified period, all average prices for rebar, common average prices for steel sheet and hot-rolled steel tape decreased by 0.8%, 0.8% and 0.6% week to week, respectively.
Over the same period, average prices for smokeless coal and thermal coal rose by 0.7% and 0.1%, respectively, while prices for coking coal remained stable week to week.
