Indian state-owned iron ore mining company NMDC Limited generated a consolidated net profit of INR 20.05 billion ($209.82 million) in the first quarter (April-June) of fiscal year 2026-27, up two percent from last year, according to a company statement released on Monday, August 17.
The company's total revenue for the quarter was 71.42 billion Indian rupees ($748.23 million), an increase of 1.5 percent year-on-year.
In the first quarter, NMDC Limited produced 15.12 million tons of iron ore in the fourth quarter, up 26% from the previous year, while sales increased by two percent to 11.52 million tons
