According to the export data of the US Department of Commerce, exports of hot-rolled coils from the United States in June this year amounted to 61,372 thousand tons, which is 30.2% more than in May and 17.3% more than in June 2025. In value terms, HRC exports totaled $71.7 million in June, compared with $53.9 million in the previous month and $57.8 million in the same month last year.
The United States shipped the most HRC to Mexico in June, with 45,133 tons compared to 32,648 tons in May and 37,938 tons in June 2025. Mexico is followed by Canada with 15,841 tons. In June, there were no other significant destinations (1,000 tons or more) for HRC exports from the United States.
