The number of drilling rigs producing gas decreased by one to 127, while the number of drilling rigs for oil production decreased by three to 452. The total number of drilling rigs in the United States increased by 50 compared to the same period last year.
At the same time, the number of drilling rigs in Canada decreased by three during the week and amounted to 216 rigs on August 21. The number of drilling rigs in Canada increased by 36 compared to the same reporting period last year.
