According to preliminary census data conducted by the US Department of Commerce, imports of rolled steel products in the United States in June this year amounted to 52,611 tons, which is 18.2% less than in May and 37.5% less than in June 2025. In value terms, imports of rolled steel products in June amounted to $34.17 million, compared with $41.14 million in May and $54.70 million in June 2025.
In June, the United States imported the most rolled steel from Canada - 12,815 tons, compared with 11,172 tons in May and 25,561 tons in June 2025. The other largest sources of rolled steel imports in June were Vietnam (12,017 tons), South Korea (10,917 tons), Algeria (4,894 tons) and Brazil (4,534 tons).
