Production of vehicles in Ukraine in July collapsed by 89%

Association "Ukravtoprom" announced catastrophic performance in the automotive industry in July. This is evidenced by the fact that all enterprises in this industry produced only 555 units of equipment, cars - 343 units, trucks - 153 units, buses - 59 units, which is 89% less than a year ago. Based on the indicators, we can conclude that some enterprises have stopped or even completed their work.

The Ukrainian plant "ZAZ" produced only 8 cars, including 1 truck, per month. In fact, the plant is already shutting down. Also, the Cherkasy plant "Bogdan" continues to stand idle, where not a single passenger car was produced in a month. Two more enterprises, the BAZ plant and the ChAZ plant, belonging to the Etalon corporation, ended the month without results. The Chasoyavorsk Automobile Plant similarly has not been operating for several months, the Cherkassky Bus plant, which produced 52 Ataman buses in July, worked more steadily. Good reviews can be said only about the Lutsk plant, which shipped 28 buses and trucks.

Things were better at the Kremenchug KrASZ, the plant produced 165 cars and Eurocar - 171 units. The management has already announced the stop of KrASZ, as a result, in July the enterprise used the available stock of vehicle kits before stopping. Army orders and KrAZ saved the situation by producing 131 vehicles. Thanks to this, AvtoKraz increased production by 29.7%, retaining both the team and the production of trucks throughout the industry.

Our source states that we can already talk about stopping the production of passenger cars. The production of trucks and buses is still supported by military contracts, but this helps only a few enterprises.
