TMK GIPI concludes a profitable contract for the supply of pipes

The largest pipe manufacturer of the Sultanate, TMK Gulf International Pipe Industry (TMK GIPI) LLC, a division of the global pipe manufacturer TMK, won a contract for the supply of 8 "pipes with WT up to 14.4 mm, API 5L X65 Sour pipes with 3LPE coating for Abu Dhabi Carbon Capture Project is a MASDAR /ADNOC joint venture in the United Arab Emirates.

The 3LPE coating system features a multi-layer structure that consists of three materials, providing the best anti-corrosion protection for steel pipes. Years of experience in the use of 3LPE pipes have allowed TMK GIPI to establish itself as a leading player in the Sultanate and is renowned for the remarkable corrosion resistance properties of its pipes in the oil and gas industry.

TMK Gulf International Pipe Industry was established as a limited liability company in the Sultanate of Oman in January 2007. TMK GIPI is the first manufacturer of high pressure steel pipes and casing in Oman. It is the first plant in the MENA region to manufacture high pressure, welded and coated pipes. Today TMK Gulf is part of the global manufacturer TMK, which has about 30 production sites in the United States, Canada, Russia, Romania, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, and two R&D centers in Russia and the United States.
