Bashmed is building a mine at the Yubileinoe deposit

The plans of the Bashkir copper, which is part of the UMMC, by 2027 will bring an underground mine to the design capacity of the Yubileinoye copper-pyrite deposit. It is expected that its capacity will exceed 2 million tons. The construction of the underground mine has been carried out since 2011.

The service life of this deposit by underground method, taking into account reaching the planned production volume, may exceed 40 years. It is important to note that during July 2014, copper ore was raised to the mountain, the volume of which exceeded 5 thousand tons. In addition, the Bashmedi miners plan to reach a level of underground mining equal to 50 thousand tons of ore during the year by the end of 2014.

Evgeny Pugovkin, who is the head of the underground mine, noted that at the current time the contractors with the help of the capital mining sections No. 1 and No. 2 have managed to pass 355 m and 650 m, respectively, on the shafts Yuzhny Ventilatsionniy and Kletyev. We also started mining the shaft called "Northern Ventilation", where we managed to walk 40 m.

The processing of ore mined in the underground mine of the Yubileinoye deposit, which has just begun to develop and the Dergamyshsky deposit, which has good development prospects, will be carried out at the Khaibulli enrichment plant. Its capacity at the moment has reached 1.5 million tons of raw materials per year. At the same time, in the event of an increase in production at the Bashmed fields, a gradual increase in the plant's productivity is predicted.

Thanks to the development of the Podolsk and Yubileynoye deposits using the underground method, the volume of extraction and, accordingly, ore processing has been increased. This figure will reach 4.5-5 million tons of raw materials per year. The results of the preliminary analysis of the raw material base of Bashmedi show stunning prospects for the development of the enterprise.
