Ukraine reduced export earnings of metallurgy in January 2015

In January, Ukrainian metallurgical companies exported ferrous metals in the amount of USD 748.7 million, which is 34.3 percent lower on an annualized basis. The volume of exports of ferrous metals amounted to 25.07 percent of the total export of metallurgical products in January against 26 percent in January 2014.

Ferrous metal imports fell 60 percent to $ 46.24 million. Export of metal products in January decreased by 25.3 percent to USD 87.62 million, while imports decreased by 54.3 percent to USD 29.78 million.
