According to ITRI, the list of the world's top ten tin producers in 2014 remained the same as in the previous year. However, eight of these ten companies reported an increase in production in 2014 compared to 2013.
All of the top 10 Chinese companies increased their production of refined tin in 2014, mainly due to increased supplies and availability of tin ore and concentrates from Myanmar. Yunnan Tin has achieved a record high annual refined tin tonnage for the 3rd consecutive year.
