Russian domestic prices for rebar fell

Due to the fact that demand in the Russian market remains weak, domestic prices for 12 mm A500C rebar fell to $ 367-382 per tonne, which is less than $ 382-383 per tonne in the previous week.

It is reported that the consumption of rebar in Russia in the first half of 2015 decreased by 15 percent to 3.7 million tons. Some of the steel mills predict that domestic rebar consumption will be reduced by more than 20 percent in the second half of 2015.
