"Krasny Oktyabr" raises the salaries of its employees

Despite the difficult situation in the global steel market and in the face of reduced demand in the domestic market, the Krasny Oktyabr metallurgical plant consistently fulfills the entire range of social obligations to its employees. In addition, the Volgograd Metallurgical Plant increased the incomes of its workers.

In July 2025, the wages of employees of the metallurgical enterprise JSC VMK increased by 9.8 percent compared to the corresponding month of 2014 and by 2.8 percent compared to the previous month. At the same time, the average wages at the Krasny Oktyabr plant this year increased by 14.8 percent compared to last year, and by 3.2 percent compared to the previous month.

At present, the average salary at the Krasny Oktyabr plant reaches 27,000 rubles, and at JSC VMZ "KO" it is 28,200 rubles. This level of wages is higher than the average wages in the region.

Volgograd Metallurgical Plant "Krasny Oktyabr" is one of the largest producers of high-quality rolled metal products from special grades of steel used in the automotive and aviation industries, power engineering and the oil and gas sector.
