A killer list of coal suppliers for Ukraine

Supporters of the Crimean Tatars blew up power lines in Crimea, the Russians stopped supplies of anthracite, and mainland Ukraine has every chance of plunging into darkness due to the lack of electricity after the peninsula. The authorities went to this with a suicide sequence ...

This small list would not hurt to study the strategists before they were going to undermine the power lines in the Crimea. Therefore, last year's experience of Ukraine forced by Putin to peace due to the stopping of anthracite echelons should teach a simple sequence: any interruptions in the supply of electricity to Crimea instantly become Ukraine's problems due to a shortage of anthracite.

But what has been done, what has been done, so now we are simply stating a fact: among the contracts for the supply of coal for OJSC "Centrenergo", concluded by the state company in the third quarter and published in the "Bulletin of State Purchases", coal from the Republic of South Africa "weighs" only 7% of the total the volume of contracts in monetary terms (about UAH 400 million).

But this is not all that our authorities should know about the preparation of Ukraine for winter. In addition to the completely rejected aspect of national security, there is also the usual anti-corruption discourse for Nash Money.

We are talking about the extremely mysterious contracts of Ukrinterenergo, fragmentary information about which was made public in VDZ.

On the one hand, the state importer over the past six months has agreed with the Russian "Russneftedobycha" and the Hong Kong "Arida Global Ltd" on the import of 600 thousand tons of coal at an unknown price, but obviously supplies from Russia. Because the places of reception are the railway stations Topoli, Zernovo and Kazachya Lopan, through which it is cargo from Russia that gets to Ukraine. On the other hand, Ukrinterenergo entered into agreements with Centerenergo for the supply of an unknown amount of coal for UAH 770 million.

That is, in one case, the price of coal passed through Ukrinterenergo is unknown.

Why hide it is completely unclear, because if the price of coal were radically overstated, then Poroshenko's political rivals would already have mixed it with this type of fuel. Although we really do not know anything about the volume of supplies.

But we know who headed Ukritnerenergo after law enforcement officers began to drag the previous director of the state-owned company Vladimir Zinevich for interrogations for last year's contract with Steel Mont Trading Ltd for the supply of coal from the Republic of South Africa. This was a real breakthrough in the struggle for independence from Putin's suppliers, but ... It turned out that ours had agreed with a British intermediary to supply low-quality coal at a quality price. This margin was enough by a few percent for the Prosecutor General's Office to repulse Ukrinterenergo's craving for contracts with someone other than Putin (the current agreements on coal from South Africa for meager amounts
