Zaporizhstal gave 58 thousand hryvnia to the Internet project "Steps to Health"

The medical educational project of the Internet resource “Steps to Health” is the winner of the competition “We are the City” and received a grant from PJSC “Zaporizhstal” in the amount of 58 thousand hryvnias.

The project is being implemented on the initiative and with the participation of researchers from Zaporozhye State Medical University together with doctors from Zaporozhye City Children's Hospital No. 5. The initiative is aimed at helping parents in the formation and preservation of children's health in different age periods - from newborn to adolescent.

Professional Internet resource (http://babykrok.com.ua) is focused on future and present parents, teenagers, pregnant women. It enables online communication with pediatricians, family doctors. On the pages of the site you can get advice on the health of children of all ages, preparing for childbirth, caring for premature babies, breastfeeding, baby food.

Also, within the framework of the project, a medical educational media center was created on the basis of the Zaporozhye City Children's Hospital No. 5. It has modern means of video communication, with the help of which online lectures by leading pediatricians from around the world are organized for medical students and pediatricians, and they teach the latest methods of diagnosing and treating diseases in children. In addition, it is planned to hold lectures on children's health for parents on an ongoing basis.
