Hot tests at the Tyumen Metallurgical Plant will last until the end of 2012

On July 5, at the site of the future electrometallurgical plant in Tyumen, the general director of the UMMC Andrei Kozitsyn and the governor of the Tyumen region visited.
The installation of the main unit - an arc steel -melting furnace began in June. In parallel, the installation work of the units of extraid processing of the stove and vacuumer, the rental camp and the harvesting of a continuous casting machine became carried out. The installation of bridge cranes (only 24 units) was almost completed at the enterprise, as well as the assembly of large -sized technological equipment, and the enlarged assembly of the gas tract is completed. In total, about 15 thousand tons of equipment will be required to equip the plant. Now about 3,500 tons of technological equipment are mounted.

Andrei Kozitsyn said that the work is performed according to the schedule. If the FSK does not let you down, then soon the plant will receive electricity. The company still needs to build a high -voltage power line. If everything goes as planned, then until December 15, the future plant will try the electric buffet and receive hot metal. The first rental plans to issue in the first quarter of next year. According to Kozitsyn, this will be a standard European factory, but in terms of equipment the most advanced, as the latest units were involved.

The construction project of the Tyumen Metallurgical Plant is implemented, respectively, a cooperation agreement between the Government of the Tyumen Region and the UMMC. The estimated cost of the project itself is 22 billion rubles. UMMC personally finances the project. But with all this, the project received state support in the amount of about 1.5 billion rubles. 953.3 million rubles were also allocated from the budget of the investment fund of the Russian Federation, and 607.7 million rubles were allocated to the budget of the Tyumen region.

Vladimir Yakushev said that the Tyumen region is involved in the implementation of the project from beginning to end. To date, a substation with a capacity of 320 MW is being built on the region’s means. The project received a standard set of benefits. This is only what is spelled out in regional and federal laws: property tax benefits, transport and land taxes, and the regional part of income tax.
