Production volumes fell on Zaporizhstal

In January - November 2015, steel production at Zaporizhstal PJSC of Rinat Akhmetov's Metinvest group decreased by 3.4 percent compared to the same period last year, to 3.63 million tons. Production of finished rolled products decreased in the reporting period by 2.1 percent - to 3.05 million tons. Pig iron production for 11 months increased by 8 percent - up to 3.45 million tons.

In November 2015, the Zaporizhstal metallurgical plant produced 314.0 thousand tons of pig iron (-0.6 percent compared to November 2014), 306.3 thousand tons of steel (-10.2 percent), 205.3 thousand tons of rolled steel ( -29.6 percent).
