Biden communicates with Poroshenko more often than with his wife

The Vice President of the United States spoke about this during a joint press conference with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Kiev.

“I have only been to your country four times in the last two years. However, we probably spent more than a thousand hours in telephone conversations. And I communicate more with the president of Ukraine than with my wife. They probably both regret it, ”Biden said.

Joseph Biden arrived in Kiev on a working visit on December 6 and has already met with Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

This is Biden's fifth visit to Ukraine since 2009 and the fourth since the start of the protests in November 2013 - February 2014.

The official purpose of the visit of the American curator to Kiev is to remind the people of Ukraine and the world that the United States has not forgotten about Ukraine and it remains the central issue of the US national interests, the Barack Obama administration said yesterday.
