Interpipe Vtormet is headed by Gennady Shevchenko

Gennady Shevchenko has been appointed Acting Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC INTERPIPE Dnepropetrovsk Vtormet.

Gennady Shevchenko took up his duties on December 22, 2015. Previously, Mr. Shevchenko held the position of Deputy Operations Director and Head of the Slag Yard of the Interpipe Steel Electric Steel Smelting Complex. His experience of working at a plant that consumes scrap metal will contribute to an increase in the efficiency of interaction between Interpipe Steel and Interpipe Vtormet.

Olga Korotkova, who headed Interpipe Vtormet from 2008 to 2015, has ended her cooperation with the company due to personal circumstances.

“Olga Korotkova headed Interpipe Vtormet at the moment the construction of a new steelmaking complex began,” comments Ruslan Zvonenko, Interpipe HR Director. “She was faced with the task of providing the new plant with scrap metal by the time it was launched.
