A resident of the Zaporozhye region stole about 250 thousand hryvnia from the account of volunteers

Volunteers from Ukraine, collecting funds for wounded soldiers who defended Ukraine during the ATO in Donbass, became victims of a 30-year-old murderer.

Residents of various cities who responded to the mountain transferred money to a bank card of a volunteer company. At that time, a criminal who had previously been a prisoner was operating in Zaporozhye.

As it turned out during the investigation, it was a 30-year-old former killer who, at the time of the investigation, was also suspected of murder.

During his mercenary crimes, the suspect created a fraudulent scheme, according to which, using blackmail and illegal actions against other citizens, he obtained bank cards. Fraudulently took possession of the details and used a malicious plan. After this operation, he transferred a quarter of a million hryvnia to his own bank account.

During a search of the prisoner's house, evidence of his involvement in this crime was found. Now, according to the national police of Ukraine, the attacker has been taken into custody. Also, at the end of December, a notification came that the 30-year-old was also suspected of murder. Now the case is pending in the district court of Zaporozhye.
