Concern for Russia's internal stability is one of the main reasons why Putin is involved in the military conflict in Syria. He must reckon with the infiltration of Islamists who could ally with Russia's opponents and plunge the country into chaos with relatively simple means.

At the rally, the Head of the Chechen Republic expressed gratitude for the support to the participants of the rally held in Grozny. The demonstration was held with the slogans: "Our strength is in unity", "We are for Ramzan Kadyrov!", "We are for Vladimir Putin!", "Not to be the fifth column."

Russia has issued its new security doctrine, which is aimed at combating the risk of the so-called color revolution. The doctrine is a response to the events in Ukraine and the subsequent intensification of NATO's military doctrine.
