Global steel production stood at 126.724 Mt in December 2015, with monthly production declining 5.7 percent year on year. The latest statistics released by the World Steel Association show crude steel yields from 66 countries around the world reporting data. These 66 countries accounted for approximately 99 percent of the world's total crude steel production in 2014.
