Preliminary statistics released by Indonesia's Ministry of Commerce show a sharp drop in tin exports during January this year. Regulatory governing bodies that administer have influenced the supply of tin from the country.
Indonesia exported 2,486 tons of tin in January this year, according to the Ministry of Trade. This tangible decrease compared to exports for the same month a year earlier was almost 63 percent. Indonesian tin exports totaled 6,770 tons in January 2015.
