Representatives of 18 oil-producing countries are taking part in a meeting in Doha with the aim of concluding an agreement between them to freeze production levels.
Russia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Venezuela on February 16 at a meeting in Doha to support world oil prices agreed to maintain production on average in 2016 at the January level, but only if other producers join the initiative.
Later, OPEC members and countries outside the organization agreed to hold a wide meeting on April 17, also in the capital of Qatar.
