US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in the Kremlin to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. This is Kerry's second visit to Russia since the beginning of the year and the fourth since May last year.
During the talks, they discussed the situation in Syria, Ukraine, as well as issues of bilateral relations. At a meeting with Kerry, Putin noted the efforts of the parties to resolve conflicts.
“Dear Mr. Secretary of State, I would like to note our mutual efforts to resolve conflicts that we consider important and need to be resolved,” Putin said.
