By Presidential Decree No. 300/2016 dated July 16, 2016, four employees of Zaporizhstal PJSC were awarded state awards and titles on the occasion of the Day of Metallurgical and Mining Industry Workers.
The Order of Merit, III degree, was awarded to the deputy head of the blast-furnace shop Sergei Lysokon and the sinter operator of the sintering shop Igor Kovtunov. The honorary title "Honored Metallurgist of Ukraine" was awarded to steelmaker of the open-hearth shop Yuriy Nedviga and pickleman of cold rolling shop No. 1 Oleg Maistrenko.
On July 28, at the session of the regional council, the Zaporizhzhya regional state administration chairman Konstantin Bryl presented the deserved awards to the Zaporizhstal residents.

The mining and metallurgical complex and the country's economy as a whole are based on the high professionalism of metallurgists who are devoted to their favorite business, ”said Rostislav Shurma, General Director of Zaporizhstal PJSC.
