India Introduces Temporary Anti-Dumping Duties on Chinese Imports of Hot Rolled Steel

In order to protect local steel mills by reducing imports of hot rolled steel imported from China, the Indian government announced that it will impose temporary anti-dumping duties on Chinese hot rolled steel from November 3 for six months.

Indian steel mills have said Chinese manufacturers are threatening their steel industry. They asked the Indian government to impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese hot rolled steel imports.
