According to statistics, the volume of iron ore exported from the Australian port of Hedland totaled 41.57 million tons in October. Although, exports decreased by 0.6% compared to the previous month, but increased by 13.8% compared to the same month last year.
Australia's iron ore exports from Port Hedland to China fell 1.5% in October from the previous month to 35.02 million tonnes, up 13.8% year on year.
Port Hedland is used by BHP Billiton, Fortescue Metals Group and Atlas Iron for ore export.
