In November of this year, Ukraine smelted 1.93 million tons of steel, which is 3.1% more than in November 2015. During the period from January to November 2016, Ukraine produced 22.211 million tons of crude steel. The World Steel Association reports.
This result allowed Ukraine to keep the 10th place in terms of cumulative production volume for 11 months of 2016. However, Ukraine was ousted from the top-10 rating by the results of steel production in November by Italy, which, according to the results from the beginning of the year, is inferior to Ukraine in terms of the total volume of steel produced.
