Intertype signs five-year contract with American Progress Rail Services

Ukrainian industrial company Intertype has signed a five-year contract with the leader of the North American rail sector, Progress Rail Services, to supply the company's railroad wheels and axles.

Under the terms of the contract, Intertype will annually supply the American company with over 10,000 machined railway wheels and over 1,000 finished railway axles. The shipment of the first batch of railway wheels has already taken place, production of finished axles is planned for the second quarter. All products are manufactured in accordance with the American Association of Railways standard and additional customer requirements.

Intertype started working with an American client in 2014, but these were contracts up to 1 year. Thanks to the development of new products and investments, the company will begin shipping finished railway axles to the American market, concluding a long-term contract.
