Iran increases steel exports

In the first 10 months of the current Iranian year ended January 10, the country exported 4.4 million tons of steel and steel products, up 45 percent over the same period last year.

According to the forecasts of the Iran Steel producers' association throughout the year, exports will reach 5.7 million tons. Egypt and Sudan were the main beneficiaries.
