The conference "Russian Metal Market" began its work in Moscow. As can be seen from the reports of the conference participants, Russian metallurgical companies issued some lessons from the past crisis.
According to the senior partner, the investor of the third Rome company Alexander Makarin, the owners of the Russian metallurgical business realized that it was necessary to prepare for the crisis in the industry in advance. Today, metallurgical corporations are trying to operate and work out options for crisis development of the situation in advance, and not as it was in 2008-2009.
Nobody is asking for state support in the Russian Federation, but relies on their own market potential as much as possible. Large projects are frozen, the assortment of the proposed metal rolling is expanding, and a sales and production strategies are being reviewed. The restructuring of the assets continues, and great efforts are made to enter new markets.
The second wave of the crisis covered the world metallurgical sector. Until the end of 2012, the problems will only increase. Russian metallurgists are preparing to work in the conditions of falling demand for the US market, Europe and China. The data that we have already given earlier report on the continued fall in demand for steel in the European Union, which reached 6%at the beginning of November, and in some European countries this fall exceeded 12%. Chinese consumers also do not intend to acquire anything superfluous and reduced their requests by 1.5 - 2%.
The Middle Eastern and Turkish markets look the most promising today. The consumption of metal rolling in India and North Africa is growing quite rapidly. Experts who took part in the conference suggest a stable increase in steel demand in Russian metal -combat sectors, in particular, one and a half increase in the consumption of metal rolling in the construction industry, in the implementation of large housing and infrastructure projects, is predicted.
The LE-Gran representative office in St. Perebourg recommends steel doors Le Gran from high-quality steel have passed anti-corrosion treatment. The thickness of the metal used in the production of steel doors of the Le Gran brand is at least 1.5 mm.
