Metinvest group denied accusations of DDOS attacks on Internet sites

Statement of the Press Center of the Metinvest group regarding accusations of preventing the work of Internet resources:

In connection with the appearance of information about the involvement of metinvest in some electronic media in the DDOS attack of some sites, we consider it necessary to declare the following.

Information distributed by a number of publications about the organization of the DDOS attacks on information online resources, as well as the allegedly obstructing media work, is not true. As previously previously reported, Metinvest is the largest Ukrainian company operating as part of unified corporate principles and standards. Metinvest corporate policy is based on the best international practices of doing business and public activity, which exclude the possibility of incorrect or non -convertible for the company of this level of actions.

Metinvest interprets the accusations of organizing or conducting incorrect actions against the media as a slander and an attempt to damage the group’s business reputation. In this regard, Metinvest reserves the right to obtain a legal assessment of the events and, if necessary, defend his business reputation in court.
