Ilyich’s metallurgical plant solves the domestic problems of the city residents

The Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich pays special attention to the social development of the Ilyichevsky and Ordzhonikidze districts of the city. These are areas that are in the immediate vicinity of the plant. Along with the negative factors of such a neighborhood, there are positive points for the inhabitants of these areas.

The workers of Mariupol, like other industrial territories, suffer from strong deterioration of public utilities. The metallurgical plant is as much as its own forces, seeks to improve the living conditions of people. This year, the plant repair and improvement workshop equipped six high -rise buildings of the Ilyichevsky district with raising pumps. Produced replacing water meters and water pipes in old houses.

In the fall of this year, the Ilyich plant has implemented a program of assistance to social, cultural and educational institutions of the city. The site near the boarding school No. 37 and the assembly hall of the Mariupol State Humanitarian University were repaired. For kindergartens of the Ilyichevsky district, 250 new beds and the same amount of chairs were purchased. From May to October 2012, roads and sidewalks on twenty -three streets and lanes of Mariupol were restored.
