ArcelorMittal Crooked Rog increased steel production by 15%

In January - October 2012, the production volumes of steel on Arcelormittal Kryvyi Rih, the giant of the steel industry ArcelorMittal, the Giant -steel enterprise exceeded last year by 14.8% and amounted to 5 million 306 thousand tons.

The production of finished metal rolling also increased by 14.1% and amounted to 4 million 610 thousand tons, respectively. In the same period, at the ArcelorMittal metallurgical plant, the Crooked Rog Curve Rhin was increased by cast iron by 17.3% to 4 million 638 thousand tons.

In October alone, the factory’s management managed to achieve an increase in production indicators by 2.2% (539,700 tons) and a metal rolling by 13% (477,800 tons). Cast iron smelting increased by 3% to 464,900 tons in October against 460,000 tons in September 2012.

The growth of production on Arcelormittal Crooked Rog takes place during an economic recession, against which all of Europe rareded yesterday. The Ukrainians did not fully realize that international corporations and individual oligarchs ride on the “waves of crisis”, increasing their capital at the moment when the bulk of people barely makes ends meet.
