Meta enterprises of Ukraine doubled the import of zhr

According to Ukrrudprom, in January - October, Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises brought 2 million 152 thousand tons of iron ore raw materials into the country, which is 92% more than in the corresponding period last year.

Only the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant brought from the Russian Federation more than 1 million 577 thousand tons of the ZhR. The Dnepropetrovsk Impressed Dzerzhinsky Imported 220 thousand tons of raw materials, the Ilyich plant 123 thousand tons, Azovstal is 145 thousand tons, Zaporizhstal 77 thousand tons of iron ore raw materials.

At the same time, Ukrainian GOKs reduced the sales of their products by 2.8% and were able to sell only 57 million 895 thousand tons on the domestic market, while export shipments amounted to 29 million 370 thousand tons of iron ore and raw materials. Sales on the domestic market of Ukraine decreased by 9.4% and amounted to 27 million 789 thousand tons. At the same time, the price of the PVD granule has not changed.

The production of iron ore in January - October 2012 in Ukraine increased by 1% compared to the same period in 2011 and amounted to 66 million 553 thousand tons. The production of iron ore concentrate also increased by 1% to 55 million 275 thousand tons and the production of agglomerate rose by 2% and amounted to 35 million 682 thousand tons.
