Industrial production indicators in the United States lost 0.4% in October 2012 against growth of 0.2% in September, the US Federal Reserve reports.
According to the Fed, Hurricane Sandy, who practically stopped industry in the northeast of the country at the end of October, cost the US economy in a 1% fall of the consolidated industrial production index, without taking into account the restoration of the region’s industrial enterprises.
