In November 2012, the Belarusian MTZ plant shipped the largest party of tractors to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the history of the Minsk Tractor Plant.
560 brand new MTZ tractors were delivered to the Klaipeda port. There they were immersed on a vehicle specially adapted for transportation and sent to the homeland of Hugo Chavez.
Before sending, each MTZ tractor was carefully verified and prepared for sale. Each of the 560 engines was started, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of iron horses were tested.
As stated at the MTZ "All equipment is in perfect order, it is checked by time, years of work." The captain of the special vessel Wu and Ming noted that for his team it is a great honor to participate in the transportation of such a large batch of tractors through the entire ocean. “Our carrier company is proud that we managed to take such a party. For the first time, this ship transports Belarusian goods. We are very proud of this, ”said Wu and Ming.
The leadership of the Minsk Tractor Plant hopes that this shipment will have far -reaching consequences and will significantly increase the export of MTZ products to Latin America. “This is beneficial for our entire association and for the whole of Belarus,” emphasized the first deputy general director of the Minsk Tractor Plant Alexander Zvirko.
